Spending time abroad with my Italian family and my fascination with whimsical, soulful objects became the foundation for Casa Carini. I was captivated by the passionate artisans I encountered and the centuries-old traditions of craftsmanship passed down through generations. What began as a personal passion for collecting unique, handcrafted treasures for my home and friends naturally evolved into a shop where I could share those finds with others—bringing the heirloom quality and traditional techniques of Europe into the homes of people around the world.

I’m a mother of two and a native Californian, raising my family between the Pacific and the Mediterranean. My favorite days are spent by the sea, hunting for treasures along cobblestone streets, and discovering the best fruttivendolo in town.
